The concept of Brecqhou stamps was instigated by the late Peter J. Rivett FCCA, a man of great integrity and professionalism in all tasks he undertook. The progressive high standards of design, printing and service now offered would have met with his certain approval.

Administration of the business on Peter's death in July 2002 was passed to Rosemary Heath of Planetesimal Publications, Paignton in Devon. Rosemary was responsible for the continuation of Peter's work and for three years coordinated the design, printing and issue of  new stamps and fulfilled the orders and enquiries of our large number of  worldwide stamp collectors.

From April 2005 Brecqhou Stamps has been managed from Guernsey by Chris Le Tissier of Channel Island Art & Books, in consultation with and reporting directly to Brecqhou Island's management. New issues combined with more detailed first day covers have been well received, this is reflected by our growing number of collectors. Enquiries from established and new collectors are most welcome.

Our issue depicting the Brecqhou Island supply boats was very popular and was released in June 2007 coinciding again with this years cancer charity fundraising event for the NET Patient Foundation, last year £25,000 was raised at this memorable event.  Details of last years event at http://www.netpatientfoundation.com/?page_id=95

Unfortunately there is no Christmas issue for 2007 due to logistical problems with the artwork, however there should be an issue for Christmas 2008 stamp which will depict one of the stained glass windows in the islands beautiful chapel.
